Repair of Plastic Tanks

Cracks in plastic water tanks or tanks used for agricultural purposes can interfere with their intended use. PlastoFix evaluates the material, the location of the damage, and the overall condition of the tank to determine whether it is suitable for repair.

Which tanks can we evaluate?

We assess plastic water tanks as well as tanks used in agricultural applications. The feasibility of a repair depends on the type of plastic, the age and condition of the material, and the location and extent of the crack.

How is the damage evaluated?

For an initial assessment, we require photographs showing:

• A close-up of the crack.
• The area surrounding the damage.
• The tank in its entirety.
• Any markings that identify the material (if present).

For large tanks that are difficult for transport, repairs can be carried out on-site by appointment.

Send photos of the damage to the plastic part/component/tank (the item that needs repair), making sure cracks, breaks, and other damage are clearly visible. If possible, include photos of both the outside and inside. Also send us any observations or questions you have about the issue.
